I don't care if you were watching the game. That doesn't mean a damn thing. You are wrong 99.9% of the time when you open that pie hole of yours.

Just remember, you are the one who was touting how the Phins stole the 2nd and 7th round picks for Wes Welker. You were the one who said Welker wouldn't get more TDs than he'd had in his entire career. Yet he did. Satele is gone for a 6th round pick.. And I believe that the Phins released the guy they took with the 7th rounder.

Not to mention that your boy Beck is gone.. Ginn hasn't proven to be anything but a mediocre receiver and return man so far...

The only one who is good is Brown. And Parcells wants to ship him out..

I love it when someone posts moronic crap like this; what do you base this on Travis?

They've have had a grand total of one losing season in the last fourteen years.

Please enlighten us and explain what you mean by this nonsense.

Travis Bickle, effin priceless.

How many touchdowns did Welker have last year without Brady? He's not a touchdown scorer, he's a slot receiver, nothing more. There are at least 30 receivers in the league that are better than him simply because he is extremely limited in his abilities. He can't run the perimeter, and he will never stretch the field, EVER!

Beck is another story. Not that I was wrong, he just never got a chance with us.

Everyone knows it takes wide receivers a while to get accustomed to the NFL game. Ted will break 1,000 yards this year, no question about it.

Brown is one of the best players in the league. He's not going anywhere unless he asks for a huge contract (which he hasn't really earned.)

I'm not sure how anyone can bag on Ginn. He had almost 800 yards last year, on a team with Pennington throwing the ball. We all know that Pennington is not a long ball thrower, thus, Ginn doesn't really play into Pennington's strengths. Ginn's job was to stretch the field, thus allowing Camarillo, Bess, and Fasano to be open on the shorter routes...and he did that. He's coming into his third year, which is historically the breakout year for most receivers. I think that Ginn goes over 1,000 yards this season...especially if they have some plays for him out of the Wildcat, with Pat White throwing him the ball.

Welker is a damn good receiver. I don't care if he plays in the slot or not. Of course, I recall seeing him line up on the outside last season, in the #2 spot, several times. He runs great routes, catches everything, takes hits, and gets great YAC. Can you imagine if the Phins still had him? Pennington would be in heaven.

Davone Bess caught 54 balls as an undrafted free agent last year. Bess has the potential to be every bit as good as Welker. Not saying he is yet or will be, but his game is very comparable and Bess produced WAY more than Welker did as a rookie.

Are you really that pathetic to think that slot receivers don't catch touchdowns? As for not catching a TD last year, what does that have to do with anything? Other than it doesn't help your case from the year before.

Welker is better than every receiver on the Dolphins currently. Your claim that he's extremely limited in his abilities doesn't jive with reality. Especially considering that he's put up back to back 1100 yard seasons.

More excuses. What will your excuse be if he doesn't? I mean, he should have had more receptions last year after Camarillo went down. And speaking of Camarillo, he's very similar to Welker. And was used in that way by the Phins. Bess only had 54 receptions because Camarillo went down. And it remains to be seen how Camarillo fares when he returns from his injury.

So, he's "one of the best players in the league" yet he "hasn't really earned" a huge contract? Nothing like contradicting yourself there. You really don't think about things before you open your mouth. BTW, just because Brown hasn't been shipped anywhere doesn't mean Parcells isn't trying to get something done.

Bess "produced way more than Welker did as a rookie" because Bess got thrust into the starting receiver role after Camarillo went down. Welker didn't have that chance as a rookie. If he had, there is no telling what he would have done. Also,. you are only looking at a third of their rookie years.. Welker was clearly the better kick returner as a rookie with 61 returns for 1415 yards (23.2 YPR) and a TD compared to Bess' 14 returns for 311 yards (22.2 YPR). As for the punt returns, Bess was only marginally better (11 YPR) than Welker (10.8 YPR). Welker did have 43 attempts to Bess' 21 though.
