Be careful on estimating how much Cam "understands" about, anything...

The primary question here is whether or not Cam has the intellect to grasp & execute the system BB wants to employ...

...the secondary question is whether or not Cam has the discipline.

Combined the two present a VERY high hurdle...

I mean him understanding coverages, being able to figure out disguises, redeploying his blocking to account for rushers and all of those bells and whistles are on tape and are not a "question" at all. He has already shown he can do all that presnap jazz. Will he do it at the level that Brady did ? No, barely anyone can. But then again he brings other things to the table that Brady couldn't.

He has also shown under Norv Turner that he is fine just taking what a defense is giving to him and dumping it off for high percentage plays instead of going for hero balls.

So unless you are just dogwhistling around I am not sure what exactly there is to answer about those things.
