Yeah, there's a rule that everyone on the 53-man roster at a certain point in a week (I want to say end of business on Thursday, but I'm not sure) gets paid for that week, even if they get released afterward.

The league incentivizes having three QBs. I'd prefer that QB2 be an actual mentor to Maye who could play better than Brissett can if necessary, and I'd honestly prefer QB3 be someone with more accuracy and touch than Milton.

I agree on the first part, disagree on the 2nd.

Having him see Brissett get pounded with slow decision making is a lesson. Working on his mechanics was more important than playing. His time was well spent.

I would be very surprised if they don't have a veteran QB to go with the two youngsters. It might even be Brissette. Regardless, that player will not make Brissette 2024 money.
