I thought about O’Connell too but I didn’t think LV would want to trade him. If they’re open to doing so, then yeah, definitely. He’s not a great starter but he was fine, which makes him a pretty good backup. Familiarity with McDaniels’ scheme.

Going back to Zappe is the equivalent of shacking up with and old partner that you never really liked much because it’s better than being alone.

I’d rather bring back Vince Wilfork as an emergency QB than Zappe.

Good point. I don’t think Jamie’s is subject to waivers.

Although considering Josh’s familiarity with O’Connell I’m thinking he’s a better choice than either of the Giants QBs.

And with all that in play I’m not sure a trade is necessary. Unless we want to make sure O’Connell ends up here and not where he is now or traded to someone else.
