Its because when you trade a pro bowl caliber guard for a bag of balls, and then using your first pick on a guard that might be as good in a few years instead of the dl, lb, wr, or db, the team isn't improving its running in place. I was going to compare it to two steps foward and one step back but its worse than that i, its taking a step backwards. I was so angry for the first time in 45 years i blew off the draft.

Exactly especially when top 20 talent at premium positions were still available who could be playmaker here. We need playmaker
