He had a chance until Andrews signed that deal, with Karras behind him.

He still has a chance to come back on the PS, possibly, depending on injury.

Also, there's no such thing as a "blunder" in the 7th round, unless you were talking about them reinstating him, which was probably some procedural thing.

I don't think it's common to bring someone back to the PS if you cut them in the spring, but I agree that it's stupid to judge a 7th round pick for not working out.
