The Pats play the Falcons on Nov 2nd. The NFL trade deadline is on Nov 4th. On Nov 3rd they should be calling Atlanta about Tyler Allgeier. He's a stud running back who could be a long-term solution. He's only 25 and he's fairly low mileage because 2 out of 3 years he's been splitting carries with Bijan Robinson. The Falcons can't afford to resign him so he might be available if they're not making the playoffs
So much dam Scouts and GM's on Patsfans.com I love it. You listening Ryan Cowden?? Not You Elliott Wolf piss me off.

"Credence" might be a tad strong. But apparently I'm not the only idiot to have thought of it.

I assume the FO is looking at a lot of options.

IF we can get somebody good I'm all for it: like the kid in Atlanta mentioned by @Brandon_Cox too.

Absolutely. As absurd as getting 2007 Randy Moss for a 4th, or trading him away for a 3rd during a SB window.

Not worth discussing.
That trade wasn't on anyone on PatsFan's radar.

How about Jerome Ford (Cleveland) or Rico Dowdle (Panthers)
Vrabel would have some intel on Ford

I’m being realistic on players teams may trade at the deadline and not cost high draft picks

What about nick chubb, he signed a one year deal with houston

Hypothetically, let's assume the Pats leadership believes they are ready for a playoff schedule. Making BOTH of these hypothetical trades would give us:

RB: Henderson, Walker, Stephenson; Gibson and Lan Larrison coming off IR next year

EDGE: Thibodeaux, Landry, Chaisson, Ponder

I don't want Thibodeaux. The reason the Giants drafted Carter is because Thibodeaux has been such a disappointment. He came in thinking he was already great and never lived up to his pick. Save the pick.

Also, if Walker does hit FA for 2026, I would consider making a run at him. I think a 2026 RB room of Henderson/Walker/Stephenson would be very good. Rham probably can't be cut untol 2027 due to his contract, provides good depth. Hopefully at least 1 of Larison/Gibson comes back.
Yeah, I agree with this, I really like the player. And he doesn't turn 25 until November.
