Two things seem to be true: NYG won't get a 1st for Thibs, but I'll be surprised if they would accept less.

We see it here how one thing that pisses off a fan base more than almost anything else is if their teams moves on from a draft pick then they do well somewhere else.

We see how pissed off this fan base is that Boney Thornton is doing okay at KC and he was a 2nd round pick.

I think the NYG brass understands that if they move Thibs, it'll be held against them.

Agreed. On TT. He was drafted into a terrible situation with the state of the organization at that time, he was hardly ever available, and he showed flashes but then the QB play was abysmal as was the coaching.

The Pats could use an EDGE rusher opposite Harold Landry. Thibodeaux is on his rookie contract through 2026. Adding more outside pass rush could really elevate the defense.

Actually I would, because the Giants are dumb enough not to realize that his replacement they just drafted is already a bust. He is just a pass rusher though, despite his size, he's godawful against the run.

Agree, but that’s what I’d ask for. They have no use for White, but they would settle for a 3.

I am leaning towards no on the trade because I assume it would be for a 2nd and it would cost a fair amount to extend him and I do not think he brings anymore to the pass rush over Chaisson who is also a FA after this year. Thibs is better vs the run, but we are doing pretty well in that area.

I am a fan of Thibs but I just don't feel like he adds much more to this team at this point. I would rather they look at S or a coverage LB if we are dying to make a trade.
