I really like his tape as well and it's not exactly like 2 inches shorter has ever scared the Pats off.

True, but maybe it should have.

The results have been split on the shorter guys. McCorty, Wilson, Samuel, Chung, Sanders and Hobbs, yes even Ellis, were all good picks.

That was an Ellis Hobbs Super 42 reference, my friend.

And "good pick" can arguably be a matter of whether or not you like winning Super Bowls.

In my opinion, that 1 or 2 inches makes EVERY difference...when it counts.

*Note: I was talking about FOOTBALL, gentlemen!! :nono:

I didn't get that was your reference. I still say you don't go cover zero when the outside receiver has an eight inch height advantage. Hobbs was a third round pick and average corner who had some really good moments on special teams. That's pretty much a good pick. He did bit on Burress's fake on the slant and wouldn't have knocked that ball down if he was eight feet tall.

You guys are KILLING me.

1 ~ I was JOKING about Ellis The Wee's height being the problem.

2 ~ The generality is NO joke: If you don't get at least 5.11, you're bucking long odds.
