will we see some Belichick-ean roster manipulation?

You said he would start. They have berrios, OBJ, gunner and others fighting it out for the slot role. Hollins would not be a starter.
I don't think I said he would start but he sure has contributed here and probably would contribute there.

If you don't think the Giants need depth at WR you need to tell that to their GM as they've now released Smith-Schuster too and the WR depth was thin even with him on the roster.

I literally said what team would he start for and you said the Giants.

Adams 1516 yards 14 TDs
Hollins 690 yards. 4 TDs
So, Hollins at 180 targets would produce 1380 yards and 8 TDs. Sounds good.
I doubt it is possible to find a WR in NFL history that had 1030 snaps and managed only 690 yards.
Number of snaps is meaningless on run plays or when Adams was the primary target. Perhaps Hollins made a block that sprung Jacobs towards his 1653 rush yards and12 TDs.

# of targets is more specific.

Keon Coleman 57 targets 556 yds 4 TDs
Calvin Austin 55 targets 372 yards 3 TDs
Jakobi Meyers 61 targets 483 yards 3 TDs
Xavier Hutchinson 57 targets 428 yards 3 TDs

The NFL is loaded with guys like Hollins.

Bill was masterful at finding ways to get 56-57 players on the 53 man roster.
do we see some cut and winks with some vets?
Landry to recallable IR?
Brown to recallable IR?
Pop or Hollins cut and brought back?

Belichikian.

Spikes was a second-round pick and Talib was a high-priced free agent, so I don’t think that’s what we’re talking about. The legendary Foxboro Flu meant “stashing” a borderline rookie for the future by putting him on IR. I can’t find any record of O’Connell mentioning it either.

This is what I mean. Sure, BB was a sneaky old bastard. But the myth of his roster trickery dwarfed the reality.

When BB hit stride a couple years or so into his tenure, he essentially pioneered the art of maximizing an NFL roster's "middle class" of versatile role-players. That is, spreading the wealth vs. having a few highly paid stars backed by lowly scrubs. He was a mastermind in that respect and it became the dynasty's foundation.
