Will We Get Any Production From Branch, Allen or Harris?

Since it comes up so often, a business deal is a business deal, it's separate from performance on the field. A big contract doesn't make you faster, smarter or more focused.

It's like yelling at the stock market because a company flops. Make another deal, or stay out.
Getting paid millions of dollars means you don't get to say I don't want to do this or that because it's hard.

So, I guess it's OK for Butler not to play hard, since he isn't making that much.

No, it's really not like saying that. They are different sports with different expectations.
But the same roles, a guy who isn't needed regularly.
BB went into the season knowing he wouldn't need Harris unless there were injuries to Roberts and van noy.
Since there have not been why would Harris' status change?

Getting a spot on the roster says that.
Low paid guys aren't allowed to say they don't want to do this or that either.

Not every player on the roster will play up to the lofty expectations of this board. While neither of the three has played as well as some believed they would, Allen has played every game and has been a blocker. We don’t know if that was BB’s plan all along. He has contributed.

Harris, if he wasn’t part of a shakeup on D Thursday, it seems unlikely he is going to be out there anytime soon.

Branch has been disciplined in the past and has responded. But his limited snaps are a concern.

The points aren't mutually exclusive nor particularly different.

I suspect there were greater expectations when Harris was signed, and it's not unreasonable to suggest his roster spot might be better filled by someone who plays more than a snap a game.

Then you want to replace someone else's role.

Since you specified highly paid players rather than all players it would appear that isn't he case of your post.

Your point is unclear.
Harris' role is a backup LB who doesn't play right now because we are healthy.

If you want to replace him with someone who plays you would have to replace a different role.
You would be cutting the LB depth to get a guy who plays some at a different position.

The fact that you specify highly paid players is exactly stating they are.

Or are you saying it was wrong to include the qualifier of highly paid.

Not sure any player says that. Do you really think they do?
