Will there even be time to get a court decision before the opener?

Looks like Roger dodger and his cronies are going to delay this decision unnecessarily long. I believe we still have to push for a neutral arbitrator and then take it to court. If they take forever to do this might not have time to get a decision before the opener.

Kessler is smart and will most likely file where he'll get a player friendly judge. The injunction will be set and we'll get to continue the drama at Brady/Kessler's convenience.

Post hearing briefs are not due to be filed until sometime this week, and then Goodell will need some time to cogitate his navel.

Goody's decision will be in the middle to the end of training camp trying to bring a huge distraction and dragging the Pats in the mud again while getting ready for the season. Delaying this much to come to a very simple verdict in a case that is already lasting too long it's gonna be another strong argument for the sting operation.

Brady's team probably have their case ready and are just waiting. Oh God if I had the power, I'm almost exchanging a SB victory for a nuclear blast in a federal court without precedents, with people being handcuffed.

What influence would that be?. The guy accepted a loss of a first and fourth and a million dollar fine with the league on record that they did nothing wrong. At this point I have as much influence as Kraft and I may be selling myself short because I would at least try to fight it.

the pats are all about preparation.......but for brady, it will be about warming up.......all his primary targets are familiar with the exception of vereen

I agree though it occurs to me that the NFL's season opener gala would be less of a draw were Brady not playing and would call further attention to the circus investigation and the NE fan's reaction. An injunction would permit the opener to proceed with full regalia and without distraction from the fans, which would have to please Kraft et al. If part or all of the suspension is upheld by the courts, Brady would miss these games later in the season.

The issue will be getting a court to hear it. The sad part is -- if there had been no ruling, and we were waiting the original ruling today, what would it be? After all of the shots taken at the Wells report, I don't think there would be anything more than a fine.
