unnecessary
What is necessary is a test that gives a positive within a few minutes. So, players, staff and other necessary employees would test coming in \to the facility and before they leave.
BTW, the test is already available from Abbot.
I think that's a reasonable idea in theory when applied to other contagious diseases, but the reality is that we "won't be safe until we're safe," given how contagious this virus is according to epidemiologists.
In this specific case, that idea doesn't address those who can easily be infected by the people who test "positive" while standing in line as they are "coming in\to the facility" or, who can easily be infected during their time in the stadium, by those who test positive "before they leave" the facility.
I think we have to wait until there is a consensus among public officials and medical experts that it is safe to resume normal patterns of interaction without constant testing, etc. I have no idea when that will be.
