Will Campbell Watch

State is having a very hard time living down his Will Campbell sucks mantra. He even went so far as to claim that Verdarian Lowe is a better tackle and would be the starting left tackle when Campbell was benched for him. Like Sam, 2, and a number of others here their rants are coming back to haunt them. Although Sam is still in a class by himself, as he didn't want Maye, didn't want Campbell, and didn't want Vrabel. That's a trifecta of WRONG few could achieve in such a short span of time.

They are waiting for a chance to have a go at him. For now they are all silent. I think they live off negativity, their lives must be so lonely and full of self doubt. Its sad really.

Campbell was an extreme outlier in terms of his measurements. Even some well-regarded OL evaluators who thought he was a stud felt he might need to move to LG. It wasn't unreasonable to be skeptical.

Campbell proved everyone wrong. He's a freak, as well as a stud.

He's doing well but at the same time it's sad he is our best lineman year 1. Still a huge area of concern for us going forward. Maye is bailing out our offense.

Bottom line, sometimes you have to trust your eyes and not what people think should be the case. Campbell proved he was a good football player for 4 years against the best competition possible. No reason to believe that would not continue.

I ventured into the Josh Simmons thread for a second,.... as a newer member it's refreshing to see that forums are the same everywhere and that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Anyway, Ive been waiting for a will campbell nor easter edition jersey to go on sale but they don't have them yet. I can't decide if I think they are ugly but I might just break down and get a red one.

Garett pretty much owned the entire line including Campbell. Gave up a ton of pressures and a couple sacks.
