Will Campbell Watch

the pressure is only going to get amplified vs Houston. They need to give him help. Run the ball more. And perhaps go back to Ben Brown at LG as Wilson struggling didn't help either.
Its on film now and every team going forward will be attacking 66. Did LAC study the Browns game see something? That was the last game that I recall where Campbell was struggling like last night.

If the Pats have to continually send Campbell help the naysayers could be right all along.

Collingsworth pointed out he was setting up too close to Maye. That was accurate.

Looks at all the armchair left tackles here.... guy has been lights out all season long for us.

Last night, his first playoff game, going against on the best pass rushers in the league, and you guys all providing pointers and gems of wisdom. the guys is coming off an ankle injury, cut him some slack.

I blame more the o-line coaching who could seem to find a way to adjust. I'm not pretending to have the solution, just the expectation of our coaching staff to be able to find some sort of a solution mid-game, even if it's half-baked.

He struggled against Myles Garrett. Almost everyone struggles against Myles Garrett, that why he’s going to the HoF one day.

Campbell looked great before he got hurt. He’s not a bad player or a bad LT or a bad draft pick. He had a bad game. Question is why, and how quickly it can be fixed.

Folks need to, in the words of the worlds biggest douche, Aaron Rodgers, relax

Question is if it is Injury, do we need to insert someone else in there til he is ready?

If he was just exposed? Is this a coachable correction or are we in trouble here?

more than campbell looks like wilson was the bigger culprit . i would just want ben brown to come back as LG. i dont see any situation where wilson is better than brown as a LG.

Myles Garrett was in Hawaii last night.

Just because Campbell looked great that doesn't indicate that other DCs did their due diligence.

I was referring to your mention that he struggled against the Browns. But you are correct I did not state that directly

Will Campbell it's going to be pick your poison do you want a league average LT or a potentially elite guard.

I don't think he'll ever be horrible at LT but i just don't see how he could ever be an elite tackle with his physical limitations when i could see it at guard he's built like a guard, i think if you think Campbell can be a game changer at guard you should put him at guard and get a left tackle and turn that left side weakness we just saw into a strength.

This is ********. Campbell is a franchise left tackle, he more than showed that this season, and moving him to guard and creating a gaping hole at left tackle is as stupid as it gets. This is just a continuation of the " his arms are a 1/3 of an inch too short" ******** people just keep parroting despite his play, which has been outstanding.

I'm not worried about Campbell. He'll learn and grow from this, just like Drake will from his mistakes.

Franchise players growing into their next forms. Same with Gonzo - next form has even higher awareness/instincts/reaction time and will bring down more INTs.

Lowe is an agile pass protector. He can't run block but he probably would've kept Maye clean last night.
Even though I have the flu I was yelling at the tv to put Lowe in.
Houston and Pittsburgh have to both love their chances.

Big Country had a bad night. Maybe is was an old man's wisdom beating up on a rookie. Maybe it was that he needs to get in game shape after sitting. Maybe he had to play LT and LG too much because Wilson stunk it up last night. Maybe Josh needed to do a better job scheming. None of it means he is not a franchise LT. It means he had a bad game and needs to do much better vs TX/PIT.

Lowe nearly got Maye killed against Mack and the Chargers last season

Campbell had a rough night, but I will never go that far.

Knee.

Know what you’re posting about.

No slack in the playoffs.

Sorry, had Williams in my mind as I was typing this for some reason.

I know that the F I'm posting about. Me mixing his injury type with another player has nothing to do with the topic of this thread.

Know the topic of the thread.

Topic of your post seemed to be bashing others, posters on here and coaches, while being sloppy yourself:

Just giving you the treatment you gave the rest of the world.
