It's easy, and only takes a few moments.OTC shows an ADDTIONAL Cap hit of 20M above the current 23.393M for 2026 if he's traded prior to the 3/20. I just did the numbers to show that the number they have are correct for that scenario.because I don't care enough to dig into it at the moment... otc said 20m cap hit if traded before 6/1 ... ross indicated the numbers were different on spotrac... I trust what ross says (for the most part lol) something to look into on another day, at another time... he wont be traded tonight, so eh...

If the Eagles trade him AFTER they pay out the Option bonus but before June 1st, the hit would be as follows:
Salary Cap proration: 20,584,702
Option bonus pro-ration: 22,864,000 + 27.45M (2026 option bonus)= 50.314M
Total Eagles Cap hit if traded AFTER the 2026 Option bonus is paid : $70,898,702. (an INCREASE of 47,505,206).
Howie isn't stupid. IF he were to trade Brown, it's either going to be prior to 3/20 or AFTER June 1st.
I don't want him... I just think he'd be bad for the locker room. Can we please get AJ Brown for Maye? Pretty please
Beat you to it! HAHAHAHA! But they do say great minds think alike.4 straight nail biters in a row. We are DESPERATELY in need of a blow-out in the fifth game, if only for the sake of the football nation's nerves. There's only so much a fan can take in one day. God, let that happen in Foxboro, because if it does, it will likely be the Pats doing the blowing out.
I think @DaBruinz has a better grasp on it than me, thank you sirthank you for the breakdown, its appreciated Bruinz
Feeling good about the Pats tonight... We've had 4 very close playoff games. We are kind of due for a more boring game. I am feeling good about the Pats winning a bit comfortably tonight. 5 nail biters in a row seems unlikely.
I like your thinking boys, but I’m guessing the Monday headline is going to be how every game was crazy close4 straight nail biters in a row. Edit: DAMNED IT, Bob, get out of my head.
