Wild Card Weekend: Seattle Seahawks at Washington Redskins

I figured the Seahawks would handle the Skins - even when down 14-0 - and beat Atlanta next week, setting up a rematch with the SF-GB winner. That would be a great NFCCG, either way. Hope they all kill each other.

Did you figure this out before or after RG3 starting limping around? I only ask this as I had it the other way around. Thought the skins would win at home and Seattle's road record has not been good. Looked like the skins were on their way....and then RG3 started limping. I think Shanny realized he has NOTHING in cousins and RG3 HAD to stay in there. Bad decision....may have cost them their QB for the future. That knee looked bad....I am sure he will be back....but because his game is so "Mobile"....don't see him being the same QB again. I think Atlanta/seattle will be a good game....but see Atlanta pulling it out by 10.....Matty Ice is going to get it done!

It's hard to see RG3 lasting a full season ever, running the offense they do in Washington and a maniac HC. Wash either needs to put a strict monitor on Shanny's use of RG3 or get rid of Shanny altogether.

Well that is THE point here......RG3 was limping at the beginning of the game. Figured it was going to be only a matter of time with that sh#tty field and him taking some hits before he would be out of there....or SHOULD HAVE been out of there. He got it done early before the hits starting accumulating....and thought they had a few chances to put it away. Hope he makes it back next year he is an amazing talent......Shanny did what he had to do based on Snyder's hunger for the SB. Cousins was NOT going to get it done. Their only chance was to keep RG3 in there....but they gambled and lost. Because now, he may not even make it back for next year...and when he does come back (BECAUSE of the way he plays) don't see him ever being quite the same player (provided he did suffer pretty nasty severe ligament damage in that knee....which it LOOKED like he had to have...but hopefully not) HOPE nothing but the best for this guy. Truly AMAZING talent and the league needs him!!!!

Agreed. Not a good game in the bunch. At least the Ravens game had some hitting.

Sherman is entering the Bernard Pollard\Joey Porter zone. When somebody rolls up on the back of his legs he'll know why.

That said Seattle is going to beat Atlanta who had all the pressure of all those one and dones.

Yeah, I've pretty much been calling Seattle the best team in the NFC for a while. We'll find out if I'm right, but I predicted they'd beat Washington, and figured they'd adjust to RGIII.

So, based on Griffin's season of injuries, if the NFL had a do over, would Griffin still go #2 overall and would the Redskins give up as much in trade?

It's looking like Griffin won't have a real long career if he keeps playing this way, certainly not as a running QB.
