Washington's been playing Russian Roulette with RGIII all season. He took some big hits, and was close to getting hurt a few times, even before the Baltimore game. He's a great talent, but he's not going to have a long career if he keeps taking this kind of pounding.

Mike Shanahan should be killed for allowing him to keep playing when he obviously hasn't been right since the first quarter. They have a competent backup but stubbornly kept Griffin out there, causing him to sustain more damage to his already bad knee.

A good coach knows when to say enough is enough.

As long as he has no long verbose soliloquies with the football in his hand while the pass rush is converging on him it won't.

That was one funky looking fumble since the only person who knew he fumbled was Griffin who was down for the count. I don't think I've ever seen a loose football just laying on the ground as long as that before.
