I was thinking the other day, I liked "Rock & Roll Part 2" as the standard kickoff song. I liked actual kickoffs too but that's another conversation. The main thing is that football was better with that song. Why no order to put it back in the game?

hes a known, convicted pedo, and the NFL does not want to pay licensing fees to him.

I'll agree it was fun dancing to that song after TDs, but @Pape is correct. From what I remember, the NFL made a concerted effort to get rid of the song, as other teams were using it as well.

An aside, the first game after this all happened, and they rolled out Bon Jovi's "This Is Our House", my buddy and I looked at each other like "WTH is this?". It's since grown on me a little bit. I still wish they had used an existing Bon Jovi song, but whatever.

Gary Glitter is 81. He’ll be gone soon. It’s not his estate's fault he’s a pervert. Bring the song back when he croaks.

FWIW Bon Jovi had written another song that he intended to give to BB, but the NBA got it somehow ("We Weren't Born to Follow"). Personally I'd rather have had "Have a Nice Day."

And before the Bon Jovi it was U2's "Elevation" for about four years.

Interesting way to look at it.

Michael Jackson maybe being the biggest example I've never been able to fully cancel his catalog but I also feel a little wrong singing along to man in the mirror or whatever.

Nah. all set here... there is no compelling reason to do so.
I don't know why this song popped into my head for the Patriots, but, how about Disturbed's cover version of Shout by Tears For Fears?

Next you'll be saying, the Violent Femmes cover of Culture Club's "Do You Really Want Hurt to Me?"

If I could pick anything, I think I'd go with the end of "Marchin' On" by OneRepublic. [If it starts at the beginning, jump to 3:03.]

IMO our touchdown song should be asian massage parlor ASMR.

But like, the full 27 minutes.

I mean, I'm assuming that's how long your typical 30 minute sesh not accounting for the 5 minutes she takes dealing with some other customer who came into the lobby.

This is all just an educated guess.

Hands down, the winner.

My vote is Slayer, Raining Blood..

Note about Glitter's "R & R pt. 2" have been going to Mardi Gras often, one of the standards has been High School Bands playing that song, perhaps because it is easy. Every time I hear that song played in my mind bells go off and I think WTF???
There has gotta be better choices..

All he has to do is get pardoned by ... uh ... never mind.
That reminds me, how about Maxwell's Silver Hammer? It might seem a little old, but I can't possibly fix how old I am, all I can do make the present the past outside of me... cue up some vinyl!
