Perhaps so, but if you bothered to follow the discussion instead of just jumping into the middle of it, you'd see that we were discussing whether or not Brady was a viable QB prospect in 2010. That's part of a larger discussion concerning "conventional wisdom" in the NFL.
Brady is a poor example of that, for reasons already stated.
Like I said Doug Flutie is a far superior example. Here's a guy with a NFL track record of success who still wasn't taken seriously in NE and Buffalo because "real" QB's just aren't short and they also throw the "right" way.
So I do agree with you on your general point. And if a coach wants to think out of the box and start Tim with a radically different offense around him than what is "acceptable", kind of like what the Broncos tried in 2010... then good luck to him.
