Let him "develop" in the CFL. He's crap in the NFL.

Where has been this so called production in two preseason games against second and third stringers, no less?

To me there are better arguments against Tebow. It's their 2nd and 3rd stringers against Tebow with his group of 2nd and 3rd stringers.

Too bad Tebow can't pass the football.

“I think we see a lot of good quarterbacks in the NFL. They’re not all maybe the best passers, but their ability to run and pass and make plays however they make them — designed plays, scramble plays, whatever it is — makes him a high-level player,” the coach said. “I don’t think there’s one specific style you have to have or not have to have, but in the end it’s about production and being able to do enough things to be successful.”

Good point. You haven't seen too many Tebow threads have you? They can go forever. A Mod's padlock is sometimes the only way to end it.

A Mod's padlock just spawns a new thread - so it's easier to keep the madness in this one

Two games, pre-season ones at that and involving 2nd and 3rd stringers. Is it possible to come up with a more unrepresentative sample?

To borrow AT56's quote from that article:

Ta-da!

Unrepresentative sample? Please, If he was any good, he would have shined against the competition. He was awful, meaning he was awful against a majority of players who will be out of football next week.

Once again, it's not Timmy's fault, it's Fox's fault, it's Rex's fault, it's Sporano's fault and now it's his fellow 3rd stringers fault. Yep, it's their fault he throws the ball into the ground 15 yards in front of his receivers. Not Timmy, it's never his fault. The wins in Denver were all because of Tebow though. He gets sole credit.

What's the over/under on how many hours it will take for this tread to die on Aug 31?

It's a 100% certainty it will die - if he's cut everyone is happy (odd to see the day when Patriots fans would seem to be rooting against a current member of the Patriots)

And if he makes the team there's an awful lot of people who are going to be happy to see this thread die as well

Yet Bill Belichick will make roster decisions based upon a 4 game preseason schedule especially for players who yet to participate in a preseason game thus far:

Jermaine Cunningham
Nate Ebner
Ras-I Dowling
Markus Zusevics

He makes roster decisions based upon a lot more than pre-season games.

That's not what you highlighted:

I meant production in relation to my previous comment about Tebow's points production and my speculation that that is one reason why BB was interested in him.

Sorry but I have no idea how this relates to our discussion.
