Part of the magic that is the 'NFL PLAYOFFS' is the ability for players to seize the magnitude of the event and make plays that will remembered forever. Think about Ty Law's 3 INTs against the Colts in the 2003 season or Deion's back to back 100 yard games in Super Bowls 38 and 39.

In recent history we've seen cases of players coming in as 'role players' but have STAR performances.

i can think of Shane Vereen's monster 3 TD performance against the Texans in 2012 (including the long bomb TD that essentially acted as the nail in the coffin).

Or Jamie Collins playing like a 'man possessed' in his dominating performance against the Colts last year.

Part of the fun is watching history unfold right in front of us. What player will come up big tomorrow? time will soon tell

The entirety of the Special Teams unit, provided that these games are as close and brutal as I expect them to be.

With the Gronk being most likely doubled (even tripled at times), I feel like Lafell is gonna have a big game tomorrow.

I don't think we can depend on running all over the Ravens (like we did against DOlts last year), so either Edelman or Lafell are gonna have to step up!

Brian Tyms: you've been MIA pretty much since the miraculous TD in Buffalo earlier this year.

Step on up!

Wright. Gronk doubled, plenty of attention to Edelman and Lafell, he should be free to make a few plays.

I think we're in for a Tim Wright sighting as well.

As odd as it may sound, I still think that we have someone step up in the running game too. Maybe not a dominant performance...but something better than most would think.

I'd expect it late, but I'd put that more on the line than anything. Maybe not a big stat line, but a couple solid second effort carries getting that extra yard/breaking one off for a big first down.

Amendola.

Time for him to show he is worth his contract.

As time expires, Ghost converts the Super Bowl winning Field Goal and dethrones the former NFL champion Seahawks. One can dream...

In reality, I hope it is someone like Matt Patricia putting together three magnificent game-plans that the D executes.
