I don't really think Darrelle Revis' strengths/weaknesses would project him to slot CB. I think using him in a role on the outside is a better idea, with the understanding that he'd need some safety help in many situations due to losing a couple of steps of quickness.
Julian Edelman will insist on being a multifaceted player. Top targeted WR, PR, the #3 QB, and the dime DB (a la Troy Brown though not due to injury like Troy). I see a successful drop kick in Jule's 2017 season.
