Who will be the new OC?

Matty P worked as an OL assistant in 2005 so there is some experience there.

The only offensive experience judge has as an asst is WRs coach in 2019.

I don't get that. As a fan who puts time and money into a team I think I have a right to an opinion, even if it's one that doesn't support everything a team does.
While you are right, what I meant is that there’s really nothing we can do about it.

It’s very quiet with Obrein the Patriots would need to interviews other candidates before they have Bill the OC title correct?

That’s officially. We know that Patriot coaches are much more involved than their title would tell you.
Belichick is on record as saying judge could coach any position on the field.
If you can coach football players, changing position groups isn’t a big deal. When you work for bill belichick any knowledge gap about a particular position is filled by bbs knowledge.
What people do not realize is position coaches coach the players, and the HC coaches the coaches.

Why? We have been the most successful franchise in the history of football, almost exclusively with coaches that Belichick taught how to do their job and worked within the system he created.
I don’t understand why anyone would want to go elsewhere for decision makers. I mean if we were the Jete of course we should clean house and try someone else’s way. But everyone else’s way is worse than ours, as proven by long term results.

Our Way resided in Tampa the past two years.

He also played OL at RPI.

I have no problem if PM is named OL coach with Yates as assistant, as long as neither he nor Judge is calling plays... In fact if Judge isn't here to resume his duties as STs coach then I don't want him in the building at all.

Our Way resided in Tampa the past two years.
Our way had the most or one of the few most productive offenses ever with a rookie QB. Our way has been #2 in defense over a 20 year run.
But go ahead and be ignorant and think football is about 1 player.

The Patriots drafted a 1st round QB for the 1st time since 1993 and the first ever by Belichick. By all accounts McCorkle had a good rookie season.

Someone please explain to me why the Patriots wouldn't go out of their way to find the best QB guru, whisperer or what have you, to help McCorkle grow and improve in his 2nd season.

I get they have a system and like to promote from within but this is a unique and special opportunity. Joe Judge? Really? That's the best option that the best franchise in football could come up with? Color me dissapointed and unimpressed.

The statement was they have done nothing. Making the playoffs is not nothing.
I suppose that depends on your definition of nothing.
I would have rather not made the playoffs last year than get blown out the way they did. It was embarrassing and worse than nothing.
Somethings wrong with this team and fans have a right to complain, even if you want to act like everything's fine. It isn't by any stretch.

You have the right to do anything you want including bei g wrong.
Who said everything is fine?
How is saying it’s wrong to say this team has done nothing, equal to calling them perfect in your mind?
Your sense of entitlement because you chose to like a team is childish.

Football is clearly more about the players than the coaches. The Bucs proved that beyond a reasonable doubt.
I'd rather watch the GOAT QB throw passes than any coach scribbling in a notebook on the sideline.

Clearly how?

What you would rather watch has nothing to do with what contributes to winning, but clearly you have no concept of what coaching is.

It's kind of funny to see you harping on the greatness of Belichick as if Brady had nothing to do with it. Without Brady Belichick is a sub .500 HC in both the regular season and the playoffs, and that's using a fairly large sample.

True. Our only option is to stop watching.
The same problem comes up when the team has a player who we can't stand, like AB. We're forced to root for a-holes sometimes.

Clearly Brady is coming back and he is going to call his own plays.
