Two days ago I said Gunner wouldn't make it because he could only return punts. I was wrong, in a pinch you can put him anywhere. He could probably even wildcat a play or two.In that Edelman's health can be aided by Gunner being on the 53 ... I pick him.
Even though I said a few months ago he was a scrawny string bean.

You're saying a team like Arizona would look at Gunner and go, "nah, we couldn't find anything to do with that guy."Meyers went from looking like he was close to lock to potentially not making the roster. Gunner went from a guy who I figured at zero shot and has given himself a chance. I feel if both were released Gunner has a better chance of clearing waivers than Meyers does. I think Meyers would stand a chance of being picked up by the Dolphins or Lions.

I think Meyer's chances took a big hit for 3 important reasons:
1) He doesn't seem to play a lot of (if any) special teams.
2) His play as a WR has trailed off after a hot start, and he didn't do himself any favors with Brady against the Panthers.
3) We suddenly have a very deep (at least to start) WR corp, so it's harder for him to crack the game day roster for that alone. Right now there are three WR's ahead of him that we know Brady trusts more (Edelman, Dorsett, Gordon), a veteran that Brady likes and just showed he's on the right track health wise (Thomas) and a first round rookie (Harry). I just don't see room for him if he's not playing ST.
