5. Je'Rod Cherry
4. Artrell Hawkins
3. Sam Aiken
2. Monty Beisel
Wait for it....
1. Jonathan Wilhite

I'm only 20 so I haven't been watching them as long as some. This was like the toughest list to make but that's how it stacks up for me IMHO.

I just disliked the fact that you were dis'ing someone's list. These are favorite patriots not best or anything else. If someone dislikes a player because of their haircut or off field behavior, that is their business,
thanks for the explanation, and sorry you felt it was a "diss", just have a hard time understanding how you can bledsoe on the list but not the goat

Tom Brady
John Hannah
Willie McGinest
Teddy Bruschi
Drew Bledsoe

Too many honourable mentions to mention.

  1. Curtis Martin
  2. Revis
  3. Vinny
  4. Shaun Ellis
  5. Damien Woody
Edelman and White get honorable mention as they're both currently helping my fantasy team.

i think with gronk, you imagine him doing it long term.

Gotta go to work, but somebody put up Coates' lifetime stats and Gronk's to date...?

Thanks... don't know how it'll come out but my guess is Gronk compares well after only a few years

1. Bruschi
2. Gronk
3. Brady
4. Law
5. Coates

(I became a fan in the early 90's so I don't have any favorites before then)

Surprised no votes for Hart lee Dykes and Eugene Chung

  1. Curtis Martin
  2. Revis
  3. Vinny
  4. Shaun Ellis
  5. Damien Woody

I think if we are talking players who were both Pats and Jets I'd go with....

1. Curtis
2. Law
3. O-T-I-S
4. Roman Phifer
5. Jermaine Wiggins

Dykes was a pretty decent receiver. Just couldn't avoid injuries and bar fights.

Chung.....my god. And people complain about Marcus Cannon. Cannon makes Chung look like Larry Allen

Almost included Law instead of Woody, but Woody is on TV a lot and seems like a cool dude.

perhaps some are young?

I wouldnt expect anyone born after 80ish to understand

Great, are you saying I am old? :(

Yeah, sometimes you forget that the 70s and 80s were a long time ago!

On a side note, I loved Earl Campbell when I was a kid and finally met him last year. He looked really old and when it was mentioned that it was over 30 years since he played, I felt my age as well!

Don't have a top 5, but Rodney is my all-time favorite.

We've had a lot of 'gamers', but to me he was the ultimate gamer. He was always up for the big games.

Brady
Grogan
Hannah
Bruschi
Armstrong

Terry Glenn???

TERRY GLENN????????

Parcells complained about Terry Glenn, but....

Dallas Cowboys

Parcells 2003 - 2006
Terry Glenn 2003 - 2006

Very offended no list has Andy Johnson on it.

In the Belichick years, my favorites are:

1. Brady ... by the widest of margins

2. Bruschi ... so much heart
3. Wilfork ... astounding athletic big man
4. Edelman ... crazy man
5. Slater ... poetry in motion

Honorable Mention: Malcolm Butler for the greatest clutch play in NFL history!!
