Try an be an unbiased NFL fan and decide which team has more of a chance of the upset on sunday...Washington or Carolina?

Honestly-it's hard to say.

Without Jake Delhomme, Carolina pretty much doesn't have a team(outside Steve Smith). Their OL is average(at best), their run game is just merely OK, their secondary is HORRIBLE, and their once feared DL is on the wrong side of 30(except for Peppers, but he hasn't been playing all that great either).

The Skins may not be great, but they are nonetheless rock solid and very well coached. Not to mention too their back 7 is one of the tops.

Both Indy and NE SHOULD win, but if I had to pick, it would be the Skins.

Well, you can never say never, so out goes #3........... and Carolina absolutly BLOWS.

So, as much as I hate to say it, I'd say Washington has a "better" (if you can say better) chance. I think it's HIGHLY unlikely and I actually see another 17+ point win. Something like a 31-10. But since I had to choose one, I'd say Wash.

Steve Smith would need a 200+ receiving game and 4 TDs for the Panthers to beat Indy - Thats their only chance...Unfortunately Carr or Vinny ain't gonna get Smith that many yards.

I too think Washington has a chance albeit small,Whenever you have a safety with 5 Ints this year and a pretty good front 7 to put the pressure on the QB you have a chance - London Fletcher has looked very good lately for the Skins and will be coming with some blitzes I am sure.

That was pretty well said, I agree with you.

I've seen two different places this morning that had the Panthers favored in this game. Which means one of two scenarios....

1) They both had typos
2) Or Vegas knows something that we don't

Honestly, I'll go with #1. As unlikely as that is, it's hard to see what outside of Peyton Manning getting kidnapped would cause a 13 point swing. But based on the possibility of #2, I'll take the Panthers.

FWIW, Accuscore.com gives the Panthers the win in 23% of their simulations. The Redskins? 7%--a lower chance than they gave the Bills in Week 3 (9%).

I vote Virginia Tech.

Whoops... :bricks:

I think we have more of a chance of losing than Indy. Carolina is mired in a QB controversy over David Carr and Vinnie T!! (personally I'd go with Vinnie over Carr, the perrenial loser, but what do I know). Indy should roll. We, on the other hand, will face a tougher opponent. Brady had one of those horrible games last time we played the Skins. Granted, he has better and more seasoned players around him, but I don't expect this to be a cakewalk. Their D, esp. their secondary, has looked pretty good. Don't know what to make of their QB; he looks "unpolished" like he's just slinging it out there, but somehow he gets the job done.

Go Pats!!
