oh yeah!

I expect the Dolphins to be a one hit wonder. The Ravens exposed them for the fraud they were. The Jets D will wear down because they have no offense. Therefore, that leaves the Bills receiver combo.

I dont think we'll have trouble with all 3, thats the reason we're stocking up on DB's and LB's.

I really think the Jets and the Dolphins have decent sized fall offs this year. i could see the Bills improving as Edwards is a year older.

I think the Dolphins will be the major rival, but not because of the wildcat, more because they're likely to be a solid, well-coached, 9-7, 10-6 sort of team.

The Jets, I don't see having a "vastly improved" defense, and the Bills will once again flatter to deceive. IMO Trent Edwards just isn't a big-time QB; Owens or no Owens.

I see allot of people taking this as a team question. Correct me if I'm wrong but the OP asked which individual team strength will pose the biggest threat. The Wide receiving tandem of Owens and Evans, Miami’s Wildcat, or the 09 Jets D.

I picked the Jets because they’re the most unknown. The Wildcat was a fad that everyone eventually figured out. And even with Owens joining Evans on the Bills they still don’t have a good QB there to get them the ball. This Jets defense looks tougher on paper and could give us more fits then the other two options (note; not the other two TEAMS).

However, team-wise, I do think the Dolphins will prove to be our biggest competitors in the AFC East this year.

hmmmm.... Let me think...I think I fear the devil rays the most. They've got a solid D...and the special teams have really improved this off-season... so yeah...the AFC east team I fear the most is tampa bay.

I voted Jets..

So which team would you vote for if they were asking the same question on the Jets message board?

Bills Pats or Dolphins?

Oh wait...... we are the Patriots.... we already know the answer ;-)

Normaly I would choose the defending AFCE champ.

But I'll go with the Pats.

Of course you will.

Tommy's back ;-) The rest of the AFC east had their chance last season.

Like I said... we already know the answer.

I can't see any D really stopping the Pats O, and the Pats seemed to figure out the wildcat for the second Miami game, so I guess that leaves the Bills.

Tough to answer as all seem to have improved, the Jets O is suspect.. Buffalo D is suspect.. Miami seems to have the most balance... will go with Miami for now.

The Jets aka Baltimore lites.

Miami. Chad pennington is da man!

Unfortunately the Dolphins still managed to put up a lot points on the Pats after the Pats figured out the wildcat.
