When will Gordon be in shape?

I think what we're seeing is less a lack of physical speed, and more the occasional hesitation because he doesn't have the playbook 100% down pat.
I think he's still feeling the injury.
Not 100 percent he maybe at 70 percent based on the eyes test

no way... he caught a pass a few weeks back and was in the clear and running like he had a piano on his back.

Agree. His speed, at least so far, is nowhere near what it was with the Browns. Whether that's because he's still working his way into game shape, still feeling the injury, or just simply lost a step or two remains to be seen.

Keep in mind that he did not participate in our training camp.

(Who knows what goes on down in Cleveland these days)

He didn’t participate in the Browns training camp either.

So far, I'm loving what I'm seeing out of Gordon. Not screwing up, producing, and a solid blocker too (which is very helpful due to his size). Imagine him with a full offseason as well as some California training with Brady & Edelman in the offseason. IF he stays clean, 2019 may be a monster season for Gordon.

And should wind up with 40+ catches for the 2018 season, not bad.

I dont think hes lost a step. He should be entering his prime years so I would think its injury or not totally in shape.

Might be paying a physical price for substance abuse.

Actions have consequences.

It's easy to fall out of elite condition. Almost more difficult getting it back than it was to achieve it in the first place.

IMO Gordon looked faster out there vs. Miami. His Patriots pace from Indianapolis to now:

65.8 receptions
1,189 yards
5.3 TDs

Yeah, this was the best he's looked all season. That's great new for the offense.

gordon is fine........there's a million things to complain about before you complain about gordon's play

Yeah, Gordon looks like he's coming on strong down the stretch. He's shaping up to be the steal everyone hoped for.

If the Pats tank it'll be because of the defense.

Gordon is flat out great right now. He can beat you at every level of the field. Screen, slant, sidelines, short, intermediate, over the top. He might be the most versatile receiver Brady has had in his career, and he’s still getting better. I’m just wondering why he isn’t a major red zone option; I don’t think he’s had a single pass thrown his way near the goal line.

He was awesome yesterday and has been improving every week. Hope the team signs him to a long term incentive driven deal. His speed is coming back and my god the guy can catch

He looks fine to me and I’m glad to have him. People expecting Randy Moss 2.0 are expecting too much. Randy was a HOFer and the guy throwing to him was 11 years younger.
