What's better in the long run?

In one of the other 5 times we have discussed this issue, another "option" was proposed.

We want to show development at many positions over the season. However, as far as winning games, some are sort of fine with losing many games, as long as we are competitive and in in the game close to the end. In that construction, this was a great result.
