Whatever Happened to John Jastremski and Jim McNally?

"Ban the dope"

Tell me one thing I have said in this thread that has violated any rules?

I have been nothing but respectful and made the cardinal sin of asking a legitimate question that for some reason you personally don't like

I am in my late 50's and have followed this team since the time they played at Nickerson field and Fenway park. I am a passionate patriots supporter. I have been reading this website for years, but last week I decided to join. I have followed very detail of the patriots for the past 45 years and know every detail about deflate gate inside and out.
I asked the question because I thought some on this board might being able to provide some insight.

You naturally assume I am a "troll"...you could not be more wrong.
Welcome Aboard, Sam Bam!!

Well, I obviously don't need to warn you of some hostile/less than polite responses here, but I think you'll find that there's passion, sarcasm, knowledge, insight, friendship, sometimes vehement disagreement, and sometimes misunderstanding here, but I think everybody here feels free to express themselves - including frustration with fellow posters...

You are clearly well qualified to call yourself a Pats fan. If you scan any of my previous posts, you'll see that I consider Kraft's decision to accept the insulting, aesthetically abhorrent, embarrassing flying elvis to be as misguided an acceptance of league/Patriots haters (Orthwein, Tagliabue, Goodell et al.) abuse as CameraLocationGate (4/1/08: Kraft tearfully apologizes for Patriots "damaging the league"-again) which opened the door for DefameGate (for which he accepted the team punishment-again).

Kraft thinks he bought an expansion team like the Ravens. He pretends the franchise did not exist from 1960-1992, although it did, and had on field heroes and glory far better than his initial eight years of ownership (when he proclaimed Drew Bledsoe the "G.O.A.T."), and had our real, traditional, classy, attractive, historically accurate original logo and uniforms.

I did not know that if its my ninth post it disqualifies me from asking a question.
No doubt you have to be on guard for trolls. This is not trolling.
Not a disqualifier at all, just piqued my interest. I actually like trolls, I don't find them annoying at all. If you have been reading this forum for a long time as you said in another post, then you know there are quality posters here and don't let me put you off. Please continue to post.

One conspiracy theory that came out of the goatboy article said Brady was offered a slap on the wrist if he threw Jazstremski and McNally under the bus.
Hence the narrative McNally called Brady a saint and Kraft a turd.

Better to throw your wife under the bus......

Couldn't have worked out better for the nfl. The courts ruled they can do whatever they want.

I believe Brady took the suspension at the beginning of the season rather than risk the potential of a suspension during the stretch run.

Ultimately, the players were blinded by the money and got a crap Collective Bargaining Agreement.

People have said that Brady and/or the Patriots bought McNally and Jastremski off to keep them quiet. The problem with that thinking is there is no contract or guarantee when you buy someone's silence. One or both of them could decide "Brady has paid me $X. TMZ is offering me $Y. I would be better off with $X + $Y." That hasn't happened, which, as you pointed out, is telling.
The science shows the balls weren't deflated so why would Brady or the patriots need to buy the silence of someone who did nothing?

You want a quick exercise in futility? Try to find any mention of Scott Miller, the NFL employee who was stealing items intended for charity, past February of 2015. Heck, before I started this post, I realized I had forgotten his name. When I did a search about the incident, the entire first page of results only referred to him as "an NFL employee."

People love to talk about cover ups when it comes to the Patriots, but the details about what Miller was up to, how long it had been going on, and who else might have been involved have been completely buried. The media was going to Jim McNally's house, but there was no attempt to find out more about the one guy who we know was definitely doing something wrong.

I brought this up in another thread and I couldn't think of the thief's name either. Thanks for the info. Scott Miller, I'll have to remember that this time. Stealing from charities is one of the more reprehensible acts that I can think of.

Here's the only angle the NFL/Wells should have pursued but didn't. If there was a "scheme" to deflate balls at home games then Dorito Dink would duck into that bathroom every home game. Since they have tape of him going in there in the AFCCG then there should be 9 more tapes of him throughout the season popping into the bathroom for 90 seconds with the balls before heading out the field. I'm sure the Pats don't destroy security cam footage right after the game is over. It should be pretty easy (if not time consuming) to exonerate Brady and Dink.

This is all moot, of course since, we all know, nothing happened.
Actually this came up and the tape is on a loop so old ones do not exist.

They did however offer up the security personell who said they never saw it happen before but wells wasn't interested in that.
