I have no idea what that even means, but it appears to be pretty much nonsense.
The guy had grade 2 AC shoulder separation. The question of that particular hit doing the exact same thing is subject to thousands of tiny random factors. Yes, he might have been hurt the same way. Or he might have been hurt worse. Or less. You have no way of knowing. Nor do you know anything about how JG was responding to his. But that's an injury that just isn't going to allow you to throw effectively if it hasn't subsided enough.
Not sure what you're playing for the Pats has to do with anything at all.
Then it sounds like you're not comprehending or maybe I'm not explaining it well. Either way the minute factors that go into getting hurt isn't that relevant.
I don't plan on posting or arguing further on this topic so this is the bottom line. JG got hurt on one decent hit that he took in that game. I've seen enough of Tom getting hit much harder than that again and again in a game to doubt he would have been put out of commission on the same hit which will happen dozens of times in a season. That's a concern. I've also seen enough of Tom and other top QBs playing through injuries and pain to doubt they would have forced his team to be put in the spot they were in in week 4. That's a concern. I doubt the team would have leaned on JG to play in weeks 3 and 4 unless they had reason to think he could have done it. That didn't happen. Therefore, concern.
I also see JG giving up 8 sacks in 94 career pass attempts. While I wouldn't call that sack prone just yet it's enough to be a concern. Sacks and hits get QBs hurt.
This is one of many concerns I have about JG as an option for this team post Brady. Any talk at this point that JG is or will be a superstar is laughably premature. I'm sure I'm not the only one who agrees. The end.
