What Do We Want To See In The Next 10 Days?

We have 10 days before the countdown another 11 before the season starts for us. What do we want to see for the next 10 days. I have only two things.

MAYE
Let Maye have lots and lots of work with the #1 Offense. Let's prepare him. No matter how many games the team expects Brissette to start, it is Maye that needs to learn, and especially to learn to play with those who will be playing with when he is allowed to start.

OFFENSIVE LINE
Run the ones together for lots and lots of reps, often with the 2's for the rest of the Offense. The OL needs time together. The 3rd string (e.g. Mafi) doesn't need reps.
Of course, we might alternate who is at which OT position. Frankly, I think that the only issue is who starts at RT and who is the swing OT.

However, I understand that the team might need to move Onwenu. I think that their HOPE is for Wallace to play LT late this year and/or next, moving Sow or Onwenu to RT.

I would like to see Pats fans NOT overreact to one meaningless preseason game and change the QB strategy for the season based on one game. I will repeat:

1. Brissett had only 3 series....needs to be judged on a 3-4 full regular season games
2. Maye was playing against backups deploying a basic vanilla defense. This in no way predicts if he is ready to start for Game 2
3. Better to err on conservative side and not destroy Maye's confidence until AVP is fully confident he is ready.

Like to solidify the O line.. we know the tackles are the weak link. Just identify 5 guys and stick with them.

MAYE- as you said allow him to continue to get the first team reps. Wich if you want to follow the reports around the team he's looked excellent with the first team taking snaps from Andrews.

Get through this last game healthy, name the starter, and start game planning for Cincy.

Robinson is a guard who played on the right throughout college. Jumping to the left is tough. I am not sure what they will do with Robinson.

Figure out the offensive line.

Everything else is a secondary priority.

Let's not repeat 2023, when it appeared there was no plan at all for the OL.

There is no reason to believe that any of the three is a better starting LT than Lowe.

The three have been competing since the draft. The staff has apparently chosen Lowe. 2 more weeks won't change much, unless we are going to sign a starting LT.
