Now that the Pats have decided to roll with 3 QBs, it seems inevitable that Drake will be playing this year, either due to a JB injury or poor play by JB, or some other currently unknown factor. I am seeking the wisdom of the crowd. I realize there are many variables (how much does he play, does the OL improve, etc.) that go into this question, but I feel strongly that with enough participation, we can account for those variables in this poll through the power of the collective intelligence.

Kind of a ridiculous thread, but FWIW, DraftSharks says 20%

LOL it says that while listing Brissett at 6.3%

Must be before the news that Maye is still being swaddled, hard as that is to believe.

I wonder how many times in NFL history the best QB was benched so a lesser QB could bear all the injury risk. You have to be really committed to tanking, and I wonder how many teams tanked their season before it started. Can't be many.

This effen team should give a huge rebate to all its season ticket holders since it doesn't plan on being competitive. No one should pay major league prices to watch a minor league team.

I dunno, man. I mean, he could get hurt during a designed run and then that has nothing to do with the OL.

"Hurt" means at least two things here. Both should be matters of genuine concern. The first, of course, is the prospect that he might get hurt physically as a result of lousy pass protection. The second is that he might get set back in his development, reverting to old habits, undoing what he has learned. The first is probably less important or likely than the first, I suppose, but together they make sitting him out until things stabilize a wise way to go, though a frustrating one from a fan perspective. The bad o-line is the #1 problem, but I have no idea how to quantify that in comparison to lousy receivers, newbie coaches, whole-team malaise, and so on.
