Not sure why (who am I kidding? Yes, I am) but personally, the loss of Gordon makes for an even more interesting AFC playoff twist. No doubt, it’ll be even tougher sledding for NE, but this team is being counted out. Theoretically, NE should be easier to defend, but I have this sense that the unpredictability should have some benefit. Teams will mostly have film of the last 11-12 weeks (Gordon era) to go off of. We are at our best when we’re healthy, playing clean/complementary football, and balanced. Hopefully these things come to fruition & Brady spreads the wealth to all of his weapons. Gronk ain’t “Gronk” anymore, but we’ll see if he can muster up one more good run for his hoofed-horned pal. Back to death by a thousand paper cuts. The OL/RUN D/ ST are that much more crucial now. We have to raise our level of physicality & execution in order to overcome our lack of talent. I’m confident this team will at least be back in the AFCCG. I’ve seen a lot in this league, and I’ve learned to never count this organization out.
