We're on to Buffalo

Don't use that game... Brady was out, Belichick and McDaniels were game planning for Garoppolo to play that game and reportedly day of the game he told him he didn't feel like he could play. So Brissett with a throwing hand injury that required immediate surgery played.

They still almost won the game..iirc.

good luck this week, most of us bills fans expect a complete implosion and blowout and only really wonder at what point in the game that happens. It sucks being a bills fan except the tickets are cheap (I drive from CT to Buffalo) and the tailgate is superior.

I also went to the jete game, oh the misery.

You drove all the way from CT to Buffalo to watch the Jets?

I'm no tax specialist, but you might just be able to write off the gas as a total loss....

No, it gets worse, I went with a buddy to New York for the Thursday night bills/jete game. The jete fan is so demoralized, it was some odd experience where we didn't even get bothered. The jete fan was like, we can't say anything, we suck, just not tonight.

The bills front four on defense is not the biggest group we have faced. I think there is an opportunity to pound the rock a bit.

If we have to start Karras and fleming, I would feel a whole lot better about brady’s Achilles if he was handing off more than dropping back.

Solid athlete. Seems like a special teams candidate to take Ebner's spot:

Height: 6001
Weight: 220
40 Yrd Dash: 4.51
20 Yrd Dash: 2.57
10 Yrd Dash: 1.56
225 Lb. Bench Reps: 21
Vertical Jump: 36 1/2
Broad Jump: 10'04"
20 Yrd Shuttle: 4.27
3-Cone Drill: 6.90

As usual... you stop Shady McCoy - both on the ground and as a pass catcher - you stop the Bills.

His numbers look very up and down but who knows if that means anything. 27 carries 151 yards, 5.6 YPC, 1 TD looks like his best game by far this year. His stats last week against the Chiefs - 22 carries for just 49 yards

Anyone know if it's likely whether or not Flowers will miss time?

sounds more like a big Safety than a LB - Those are definitely good ST's stats. 4.5 speed and 6.9 quickness

For the moment, this fills the open slots. Also suggests Canon and Waddle are out for Sunday. So Fleming starts at RT and Thuney is backup. Perhaps Andrews returns at least.

Grigsby's best hgt and testing performance comparison is actually Duron Harmon.

Grigsby is about 20 lbs heavier, though, and his bench reps, shuttle and 3-cone were notably better than Harmon's

I was wondering about that and was delaying updating my roster spreadsheet until the assumed promotion of Grissom from the PS was confirmed.

For the record ...

King (6034/303) was with the Pats from the draft thru OTAs and Camp, and waived in cutdowns. He took the place of DB Jomal Wiltz on the PS on Sept. 20th (Wiltz was re-signed to the PS Sept. 25th, replacing DB Nelson).

King was bumped off the PS by OG Cole Toner on Oct. 9th and signed to the Ravens PS on Oct. 31st. The Ravens Waived King from their PS on Nov. 14th.

So, the Pats have actually just signed TWO guys to their active roster who spent time on the Ravens PS this season.

Yes, surprises me although as Reiss points out, it could still happen. If Andrews is active, then Karras backs up guards and center and King is unecesssary. My guess is that they are waiting to see if Andrews can go. If he can, King goes to PS and Grissom to 53.

It's a bit odd, the Pats signing yet another interior OL to the active roster when it seems like the "thin spot" is at OT. If Cannon and Waddle can't go this week, that leaves Fleming to start and only Croston as his backup (apparently, the Pats aren't activating OT Andrew Jelks off the NFI List by the 4pm deadline today, so his season in now done).

OTOH, if Andrews is also out, that leaves only Croston backing up BOTH tackle and guard.

Lots of moving parts, as always.

Our defensive line really struggles vs mobile quarterbacks because it’s not a very athletic group. Contain Tyrod.
