We're on to Buffalo

Ok Chris Hogan needs to be back next week he has to get a game in Before the Pitts Game.
That would be ideal but because the Pitt secondary is so average it's not critical.

At this point whatever decision ensures he is 100% for the playoffs I fully support.

Belichick is 29-6 versus the Bills lifetime as a head coach. I guess that's why they call them the Buffalo Bills!

Interestingly, the Patriots - Bills games may not matter at all. The Bills have Miami 2X and the Colts on their schedule besides the home and away with the Patriots.

If the Bills win those three games and finish 9-7, they can still tie for the 6th spot in the playoffs unless one of the Chargers or Raiders go undefeated. Either the Raiders or the Chargers will suffer at least one loss since they play each other on the last day of the season. The Bungles hold the head-to-head tiebreaker since they beat Buffalo 20-16 this season. The Bungles will have to go 4-1 against Pittsburgh, Chicago, Minnesota, Detroit, and Baltimore. C'mon Marv, you can do it!

Big Dog LA Waddle is in good form what's his current contract like??

Well, it was a walkthrough. The only guys who didn't participate (Cannon, Hogan) are the guys they're pretty certain won't be playing Sunday.

Some of the other guys who are listed as "limited", there may be a chance that they'll play, so they're likely doing all the prep work, just in case. But being "limited" for a walkthrough probably shouldn't be taken as a sign that they'll be good to go by Sunday.

Tomorrow's practice will tell us more.

Nice to know, Buffalo

If I had to choose, I’d take no pressure over pressure.
I don’t think this means rushers getting close to him I think it means amount of blitzes.

I think pressure means blitz, not success of the rush.
I have no clue. Seems like the dorks at PFF see a pressure as something derived from a standard rush.

Here is another one

FOOTBALL OUTSIDERS: Innovative Statistics, Intelligent Analysis | Quarterbacks and Pressure, 2016

When I Google QB hurry it says it is when the rusher forces the QB to "hurry" their throw.

I think pressure means blitz, not success of the rush.

It's not really an officially recognized stat so the terminology is a bit messy at this point with no universal agreement.

IMO, Pressure and QB hurries are pretty much the same: Any pass play that results in the QB being flushed from the pocket, being forced to rush his throw, or moved off his dropback due to the pocket collapsing.

So a blitz is scored either as a pressure or a sack.

I hope the Reilly concussion thing isn't too bad. Obviously, a scary injury considering long term things. But I like him as a player, could be a solid role player for us.

Yea it is hazy. I guess after the 5 minutes I spent trying to understand the difference is a hurry is derived from a pressure and a pressure is derived from a regular rush or a blitz.

My .02$

That was a major collision.

The question isn’t what we think the question is what definition they used in developing thise stats because they are not relevant to anything other than the definition they apply to.
