Only he's faster and quicker. He can also play OLB.NFL Comp: Deatrich Wise
I hope not. We just got rid of Wise. If he is Wise pt2 just cut him now lol.NFL Comp: Deatrich Wise
Agreed. We were too fixated on zigging when the rest of the NFL was zagging. There's a reason a lot of small school guys struggle to make it but we were trying to corner the market on small school guys nobody heard of. Eventually all the accumulated reaches bit us in the butt and we ran out of talent to compete. The old regime had a fixation for obscure players from remote schools.
Doing that left the cupboard bare.
Most people would not have complained if the Pats had taken either Josh Farmer or Bradyn Swinson at 77.
Hoping he becomes our Maxx Crosby.
WTF is wrong with you. Wise was a underated player for this team for years.I hope not. We just got rid of Wise. If he is Wise pt2 just cut him now lol.
I have consistently disliked Wise since 2019/20. Average at best run defender and could never sniff 10 sacks a season despite playing more snaps than most defenders in the nfl....yeah bye. Wise is allergic to impact plays and you need a certain amount of playmakers when the game is so heavily geared towards offense and players like Wise limits turnovers just by being on the field.WTF is wrong with you. Good luck building a defense that's so stacked with talent that a Deatrich Wise level player isn't going to get a good amount of playing time for you. Like nothing you're saying about him not being an impact playmaker but he's a good, solid rotational piece. Ideally he wouldn't play as much as he has for us, but that's a problem with the guys around him, not him. Wise as a 4th rounder was a good pick and if this new guy is comparable that's a very solid level of production for this draft slot.I have consistently disliked Wise since 2019/20. Yep; and Landry.Don’t forget Chiasson. He’s still young and appears to have figured it out.
