I was actually a little happy about the sacks; they meant that Brady was believing in the OL enough to give the play a chance to develop rather than completely giving up on it right away.Bedard is underplaying Wynn’s return and being very defensive of Newhouse but I feel like Brady was feeling more confident in the pocket yesterday, even though he still received some shots. He didn’t look skiddish like he was going to be clobbered every play.
I think Brady was rather done playing around. His season has began, he really wanted to win yesterday. Drops and the weather did not help him out. Yesterday was Super Bowl Brady.I was actually a little happy about the sacks; they meant that Brady was believing in the OL enough to give the play a chance to develop rather than completely giving up on it right away.

In 120 games Quinn has 78.5 sacks & 86 TFL. Borderline HOF #'s if he plays 4-5 more good years.
Quinn is the reason people like me love pass rushers. Explosive off the snap, can mix up his strides & speed. Very quick, high hands. Powerful hips to explode, turn or reduce his surface. He teaches the best of the best put it that way. Guys like Donald, Miller etc will call him up, takes notes in film study when Quinn is on.
I always loved him & wanted him last year when the Fins grabbed him but he's not a PTP. High maintenance all around. Whoever he plays for is literally watching his injuries, tending to him in some way to get him on the field.
Anyway Wynn had a few bumps but looked more then solid imo. Rewatching but really need A22. He was beat a few times. 2 that caught my eye early. One was simply a nasty move from Quinn. Looked like a stab/club but it's Quinn's euro step/hop step & hips that helps get around Wynn. That specific move he taught Donald. You're striking your defender while taking away surface he can grab. Not an easy assignment out of the gate but very happy w what I saw so far.
Wynn definitely looked more comfortable as the game went on & more then held his own.

Not a bad comp. Armstrong certainly wasn't the biggest guy but coaches loved his versatility & athleticism. Probably never played over 305.Nice observation Wynn reminds me of Bruce Armstrong many moons ago.

I wish they ran more. Michel looked pretty good now that he had actual blocking. LaCosse blocked OK too, which surprised me.
