Fields never had a chance with this guy as coach. Imagine what he would look like with Belichick if the Pats got him.

He didn’t command much and he said Bill was playing games. When it was known Chicago was a real contender, Bill made a final push, but it was too late and Hicks already made up his mind. His contract was peanuts. Awful move by Bill.

HIcks was a rotational DL, not a full time DL. There was no way BB was going to pay him starter's salary. He went to Chicago, we won the SB the next season.

I would like to hear if any Bear scouts were trying to argue for drafting Mac Jones. Also was there another team angling for Chicago's pick in order to pick Mac, I think Bears could have traded down in the first round and still could have got Fields.

Mac on the bears wouldn't have looked much better than Fields IMO. Their coach sucks and Belichick doesn't.

How does ESPN find the worse announcers for all sports? These MNF announcers are horrible. The MLB announcers are horrible too. I think that the bottom of the barrel announcers from other channels are better than these bums.

No, he was a starter in 2015 and he was really good. I knew the “we won” rebuttal would show up. What happened in 2017? He signed a cheap 2 year deal so he certainly would’ve been useful then.

Right now he's a product of bad coaching and a bad offensive line. Not what was advertised in the draft but also not that terrible IMO
