This thought will bother the armchair GMs, local media, etc, but the defense is better than last year.

An upgraded front seven, and we replaced a 99 ovr cornerback with a 92-93 kid.

Currently sit top 10 in the NFL in PPG defense at 18.9 PPG. Opposing QBR is in the top 10 and total yards should be around 16th.

Take away the Steelers last drive, Jags last drive and this last drive and yardage wise it is pretty good for Malcolm Butler, Tarrell Brown, Logan Ryan and Justin Coleman (although Coleman has only been here for 2 games)

Damn shame they fell asleep in that bills game.

Pats D really impressing. It's only their fourth game and they really beat up on Dallas' O-line which is one of the best in the league.

I think they work on deception schemes at the end of blowout games and treat the last few minutes as pre season time. IMO

That interception off of Weeden looked like similar to the right side coverage they tried and blew at the end of the Jags game which gifted the Jags a TD.

Sheard has outplayed him by far. Much better pass rusher and has been stouter against the run. At this point Ninkovich only gets the start and snaps because he's a "captain".

We've replaced Revis (the best possible way) and Browner was never that good.
