Game Day Thread Week 5 New England Patriots at Dallas Cowboys Game Thread

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Do a fake kneel down and throw a touchdown just for Jerry.

Butler just over committed there. Could have been a TD. He still has room to improve and i believe he will.

Overall good game by him and the Pats.

Garoppolo as victory cigar.

Can we please see him throw a pass or two?

"But Bill shouldn't we just kneel it?"-McD

"That has to be deflating for the Cowboys" . Did anybody else just hear that?!?!?!?!?
Sadly I've heard this said several times in the Pats games. ....gee like it's not intentional.

This thought will bother the armchair GMs, local media, etc, but the defense is better than last year.

An upgraded front seven, and we replaced a 99 ovr cornerback with a 92-93 kid.

Currently sit top 10 in the NFL in PPG defense at 18.9 PPG. Opposing QBR is in the top 10 and total yards should be around 16th.

We've replaced Revis (the best possible way) and Browner was never that good.

I'm confused because the only context the word makes sense is that of deflating a football if I'm not mistaken. Not losing weight or self esteem.

Agreed. And I think they play better together. Rallying to balls for tackles etc. They seem to have more
cameraderie as well as higher skill level at some positions.

They were saying that the Cowboys are on a diet.
