fyi - the Lombardi (approx) quote was from yesterday talking about league in general and i used it pregame in context of hoping for O allowing better complementary football.

people were all over bad D last week and those poor boys (w/o Flowers, Chung, Rowe..) hardly took a breather..

I’m sorry if it came across that I was responding to you. I was just blown away that he said that.

Sony Michel sucks and can't run...sure glad Bill snuck some other guy into his uniform today and got some production...but...Brady had a bad game, or so I just read, and Gronk is pretty serious with a real bad injury because he left the game when it was 31-7...so really, it's all still "REAL BAD!!!!" around here ...except for Fnord, who bet the house on the Pats last night when this place was a virtual ghost town.

I like that you think houses still cost $1k. Frickin' boomers.

One player who I think will be really fired up for the game Thursday is Simon. Something tells me he's a tad bitter about how the Colts handled things..

I am DYING to see Gronk and Edelman on the field at the same time again. Thinking that I'll have to wait two weeks for that.

Goddamnit, you guys, I love football. This win was so satisfying in so many ways. Love our D. Love the effort on O with blocking by our WRs and TEs.

Cyrus is looking like a reliable punt returner. Patterson got into the mix. Gordon showed some flash. We got great production from Michel and even better production from our most reliable receiving back since probably Faulk.

JE comes back, the injuries that happened today aren't season-ending. We'll be playing an embarrassed Colts team on Thursday night.

Gotta treasure days like today, we've had so much success we as fans don't even deserve it.

Hopefully not.. Hopefully Gronk can go this week even if it's just limited action.

I didn’t expect a lopsided win. Great game and I’m not too surprised. I expected a turn around and a win. I’m pissed I missed most of the game .

And a F****** moron for a head coach who goes for it on 4 and 4 in OT in their half of the field and then loses th game, when you could have tied.
I didn't mind that call. You're at midfield with 24 seconds left and HOU had no timeouts. Best scenario you just have to make one stop or two open field tackles. Hindsight is 20/20 and they ended up giving up a big play but I don't mind taking that chance

I agree. Luck's throw was awful though.

Awful throw and awful call. It was all predicated on trying to catch the D off guard and hoping your first read wins his battle without even reading the field first. Weak ****
