Third time we see our old friend Gilmore after he left. Had a pick off Mac as a Panther and didn't have much to do as a Colt last year. Downgrade from Diggs at this point in his career but still a smart guy and he knows how BB thinks.

Not sure how this offense scores enough points. If the O-line can suddenly gel and block one of the better d-lines in football??
Where do the Pats have an advantage? Coaching? Defensive backfield? Cowboys O-line is also one of the best in the league.
The offense can move the ball, they just need to finish. Obviously that’s easier said than done but it’s far from a train wreck. Hopefully we can finally break through because this would be a great time to do it.

This is a winnable game. The cowboys offense is good but not what it was in 2021. McCarthy is calling plays & cooks has been underwhelming so far.

Losing diggs for the year changes them defensively. 33 year old gilmore has been up and down and may not be able to be a cb1 anymore. Their front has always been susceptible to the run.

It’s reasonable to think the pats can score in the 20s & hold the cowboys in the 20s in this one. Steal a game for once!!

We need to get more speed. I'm pissed watching every other team have RB's that can burst.
I still don't get dumping Strong after 1 year? He was the leading rusher for the Browns yesterday (albeit only 27 yards).
But, Wheatley was a useless trade. In fact, All but ONE big $$ Offensive FA BB has brought in the last 4 years has been a bust.
Cam, Jonnu, Agholor, Parker, JuJu. (Henry is the one exception)

Statement game for Bill the Coach. Finally beat a good team with a good quarterback. A win could really set the tone for the season. It's all right there. But the conservative play calling on offense isn't going to cut it on the road vs Dallas. No risk it, no biscuit. If they manage to win 17-12 I'll eat crow, but its going to take touchdowns to win Sunday.

Those uniforms are god awful. The jerseys suck but wearing the silver pants would improve the look greatly.
Silver pants does look better than those gawd awful mono-color unis but just exposes the whole Flying Elvis color scheme as a complete ripoff of the Dallas uniform. Reminds me of how the expansion Milwaukee Bucks came up with the oh so creative and original idea of wearing green.

Definitely a winnable game. Cowboys defense is not as good as the Jets or Eagles defenses that the Pats have already played, especially with Diggs gone. The Cardinals found a lot of success by simply running the ball which opened up the passing game. I would expect to see the Pats feature the running game as well, especially Zeke looking to make a statement. Defensively, Dallas gave up plenty of sacks last week. Judon and Uche can create some pressure. Gonzo and (hopefully) Jon Jones can cover Lamb and Cooks. Cooks has not done much this year. I think it's not too bad of a matchup, but I wouldn't say it's definitely a win. Kind of a coin toss. I'll feel better about it when NE stops shooting themselves in the foot every game.

Only (3) afternoon games for week 4. Hopefully Pats game will be available in most of the country (and in Denver) The Donks play early AT Chicago.

It seems weirdly more specific than that. They're 5 for 7 scoring TD's in the red zone, so they're finishing. And they are making completions and moving the ball in general. It's this weird dead zone between the opponents 20 and the 50 yard line where they seem to implode so far this year.

Just checked some stats and there are 4 Dallas D-linemen with 2+ sacks. Seems these guys plus Parsons are the strength of the team. Playing with a hostile and loud crowd, with an O-Line that hasn't jelled yet, against a bunch of sackmasters? Well that's the game right there. Stop their pass rush. The entire game.

I see more of the same with the Patriots offense with maybe a few more attempts to challenge downfield.

Gilmore was their #2. Now he's gotta try and be a #1 again. His' slowed some.. He's savvy. He'd probably be better at SAFETY right now.

Still think the Pats should try to get Lamb from the Boys. They mostly underutilize him, (for some reason they want to prove they can win without him) despite his talents and he's due an extension that Jerry may not want to pay. Might be able to get him for a 2nd. Also, DJ Moore is criminally underutilized by the Bears. Either would instantly change the Pat's offense.

I'd take Cooks back at least. He'd be cheaper and he's not doing much in that offense so far this year.
Don't think they should have sent him packing after SB52.

After that College Drubbing by Miami: Denver might be having a fire Sale would love either Sutton or Juedy. Speaking about the Bears we had interest in Chase Claypool before: the bad news Bears are well on their way for the #1 Overall.

Doubt they're thinking fire sale in week 3 of the season.
