Your faith is much more than mine. This OL is a fatal flaw in my eyes - there is no salvaging it.
But keep that faith - it's better than our misery for sure.
What does "salvaging" the OL mean? It is obviously true that we don't have an NFL average OL for this season.
====================
We have a solid start center, and his backup on IR, and a below average backup on the 53, and a possibility on the PS.
We have at least four players that can start as at least OK guards in addition to Onwenu: Sow, Jordan, Strange and Robinson
And we have an OK starting RT
So, one can only believe that you are talking about one very critical position: Left Tackle
===================
BOTTOM LINE AT LEFT TACKLE
We cannot "salvage" the LT position this year. Is this news? We have known that for many months.
At BEST Okorafor/Anderson/Lowe/Wallace at LT was a bridge to the 2025 addition(s) at LT.
We haven't yet played FOUR games. I didn't expect even a respectable below average OL until mid-season.
=========
STATUS QUO - We have
Lowe - injured, improved over last year, and improved through camp and the pre-season (an NFL swing OT at best)
Jacobs- with some NFL experience, cut by DEN, beaten out at the very end for the role of swing OT
Wallace - at this point, not close to being as good as Lowe at LT
