It was the right thing to do with a six-point lead and 7 seconds left, a no-brainer when you think about the alternatives. A punt block or long punt return could've won the game for Indy. I'd assume the Colts were expecting it and still rushed everyone to prevent the punter from burning the clock completely, which he almost did anyway.

Definitely smart… but if he burned it completely I think it would have still required the free kick anyway? But I think there wouldn’t have been a play run if it was fair caught.

So I am rooting like hell for the Jags today. Why? If they win then the Chiefs host either the Bills or Texans in the first round, a very tough out. Heard broadcaster say Goodson had 6 receptions all season. Why put the entire season on the line on a back-up rookie RB when you have Taylor, Pierce, Pittman?

THIS is a ROTY worthy season from a QB. Has Jones in 2001 beat in every way. Jones was ok that year but not even close to ROTY worthy.

Think the Texans would get Stroud to throw 3 passes in a game and win? Doubtful.
