The Number 2 Overall can be the guy I'm just saying.

Very smart move on the safety. The punter could probably have run out the clock. Either way a kick out was much easier and safer than a punt there.

Pats SoS drops to .518

Great call. If Minshew made a very easy throw that any NFL QB makes in their sleep it would have been a first down.
He throws like Mac and Zappe poor Receivers.

Stroud has a Cannon even a bad throw is a nice spiral.
He has a strong arm and good mechanics. Can't remember last QB drafted with decent mechanics. Most QBs suck at that now.

He throws too much on back foot when rushed though. He needs to cut that out. Either step into the throw properly and take the hit or throw away the ball.

He is going to be a great QB. Called it too when he got drafted (to a friend lol). He was just so poised and sharp in the pocket from his hilights.

Three paths remaining for the #2 pick for NE with the Texans win - though really two paths in a sense, as a Broncos win makes the third game result meaningless:

1- Falcons win, Broncos win
2- Falcons win, Raiders win, Packers win

He had no choice on some of those back foot throws or it ends up being batted or worse a fumble, but what an arm, lasers off his back foot. Similar to Allen.

Can we get a Patriots Loss scenario Ross thanks.

Unlike we know who.

Sooner or later those throws will lead to interceptions.

The Good/Great ones can get away with the those Stroud wasn't playing with full deck @ WR.

Those two assume the Patriots lose. They can’t get the #2 pick if they win unless Washington and Arizona both also win and also those two plus the Giants have better SOS - all of which is unlikely

Could you tell me what this means for our pick?
I just posted a few messages ago. Pats need Falcons to win and either the Broncos to win or the Raiders and Packers to both win in order to have a lower SOS than Washington and get the #2 overall pick if they lose to the Jets. If one of those two scenarios don’t happen then they can’t pass Washington.

You don’t see that often.

It was the right thing to do with a six-point lead and 7 seconds left, a no-brainer when you think about the alternatives. A punt block or long punt return could've won the game for Indy. I'd assume the Colts were expecting it and still rushed everyone to prevent the punter from burning the clock completely, which he almost did anyway.

For a rookie, he's got an insanely low, league leading 1.1 INT% which probably dropped after tonight. He's a lock for OROY.
