So the Chiefs have a bye week playing the Steelers next week and will have a second bye week if they play the Raiders after that.

I think the Raiders will give them a game if they make it. Steelers not so much.

in the 3rd Q. These analytic coaches should be fired based on the probability of how much they will suck.

It’s misuse of statistics and not understanding the obvious. There’s a branch of mathematics called ruin theory. That the “expected value” might be positive, but the negative value is so bad that it ruins you if it strikes. Casinos are a typical comparison - even if you find a game and a moment where your odds are higher than the house’s, you don’t have unlimited funds if the negative outcome occurs.

Analytics may say you’re more likely to convert there so you go for it. But if you miss…. Well, as you see, they flushed the game away. Making that choice increased the chances of them losing the game if they miss more than it increases the chances of their winning if they hit it.

It’s gonna snow, going to be fun! Worst that happens is we lose but get to celebrate a return to the playoffs with a new young QB and get to be excited to see if he can make the year 2 leap. And who knows? Maybe they’ll win!

Sure, but what works in the snow is different than the rain and wind. Hopefully Buffalo will be expecting Pats to ground and pound, and will try to do the same themselves. But snow games where there isn’t much wind is great for the passing game.

The Pats‘ big mistake in the Snow Bowl was not adjusting to a passing game attack until the 4th quarter. Thereafter in all snow games, the Pats had Brady throwing.

Problem with Buffalo in January is there is no way to know if there will be snow or not until hours before the game. Lake effect kind of just pops up unpredicted.

No way he was short. Not that the chargers are gonna come back but that should be a first down for sure, very fishy if that doesn't get overturned
