I honestly have no idea who Lawrence is even throwing to.

So your logic is they need to lose to the Jags and be potentially out of the playoffs just to beat Miami the next week and still not get it the playoffs?
As odd as it sounds and as the logic may be, he’s right. Pats win at Miami and they’re in, regardless of what happens against the Jags or what anybody else does. The Charger loss to Houston yesterday was huge.

Odd take.

There is context to that

bills starting positions

Buf 39 (needed to convert a 4th down to keep drive going)
Buf 25 (held to a FG)
NE 33 (no points allowed)
NE 42 (should have forced them to punt as the C committed a false start that would have made it 4th & 12 from the NE 45, Jackson also just missed an INT by finger tips in the end zone)
Buf 20 (held to a FG)
Buf 34
Buf 25 (Jackson dropped INT, Collins had Allen short on 4th down but got knocked out of the tackle by a teammate)

bills only had 1 TD drive that went more than 60 yards where they didn't need to convert a 4th down

people can disagree but Pats were the ST being better than meh and Jackson having better hands yesterday away from allowing 19 points.
You are clearly right. I was depressed and needed a nap

Hold it, I don't mean to hold us up, but hold on, I held out after holding oh whatever

The officials are obviously not our friend.

They do not call holding committed against us, and call it against us at the crucial times when it's marginal.

We have to simply overcome this reality.

I guess teams going forward will try and play man against us: We'll need to get Jonu more involved as well as Hunter

This week was kinda weird playing without Agholor and with a non-practicing Bourne. Not sure that's going to carry forward.

Fair point, Bourne was on a play count and Agholor opens things up for this offense with his threat vertically.....

You're sounding like Bills fans after we beat them. It's okay they were the better team yesterday it happens.

Where did I say Pats were the better team? I was responding that there is context to the defense not forcing a punt.

We're going to have to get Judon going again....this stat is a bit misleading as Indy didn't throw it too much.

Welp, jags next week, so I think this will help that .

Maybe, Bills have the top ranked passing defense. A lot of things do not work well playing those kinds of pass defenses.

The Jaguars have placed 11 players on the reserve-COVID list: TE Dan Arnold, DT Malcom Brown, LB K'Lavon Chaisson, TE Luke Farrell, DT DaVon Hamilton, C Brandon Linder, TE Chris Manhertz, LB Lerentee McCray, LG Andrew Norwell, DL Jihad Ward, OL Jared Hocker (practice squad).

Pats are 15.5 point favorites. That’s a lot.

The Patriots should smoke this team. They really don’t do anything well.

QB - The lone bright spot on the roster but, between running for his life behind the worst OL in the NFL and throwing into windows so tight that they would make our 2019 WR corps look like the 2007 Patriots, there’s not much he can do.

OL - They’re the worst I’ve seen this season. They’re a ZBS with blown assignments galore. We may set our high sack total this week.

WRs - Terrible. Chark was the bright spot and he’s gone for the year. Jones has now been relegated to WR1 duties and he’s not that guy.

RBs - Worst in the league now that Robinson is gone. Lawrence is their only big threat on the ground now, which is why we will probably play a good amount of zone here.

TEs - Worst in the league. They are so bad, the Jags traded for Dan Arnold. Dan Arnold is now on the Covid Reserve list.

DL - Meh. They’re good at stopping the run. Allen is a threat when he actually shows up.

LBs - Myles Jack is really the only threat.

CBs - This is actually not a bad group. Campbell has gotten better as the year has gone on and looks to have a bright future. Griffin is decent, but not worth the contract he got. Rudy Ford has been playing well since joining the team. This is probably the strongest unit on the team.

Safeties - No clue why Cisco hasn’t gotten more starting time. Wingard is a liability. Maybe the worst or second worst SS in the NFL, depending on where you slot Sorensen.

This should be a get right game for us. This is the worst roster in the NFL, from top to bottom. Meyer really had a chance to retool the roster in the draft, and had a very suspect draft. He drafted Etienne with the second first rounder when he should have taken either Jenkins or Eichenberg. Then he should have taken Elijah Moore with his first pick in the second round and Radunz with his second pick. He would have solidified both tackle positions while adding speed and he still could have drafted a RB later. Unless we get wrecked by the sniffles at some point this week, it should be a comfortable win.

I never heard of any of those players other than Brown and Chaisson.

Hamilton is a 3-tech run-stuffer. Second year guy out of Ohio State. He’s actually decent. That’s why I noted that they aren’t bad against the run. They are now, though.

I read he’s on the COVID list. Don’t know if he’s vaccinated.

Allen is on the list and he’s unvaccinated so he won’t play on Sunday.

Judon and Bentley on Covid list

For real? JFC man! I’m not trying to make excuses, but how many of these guys that have had their performance drastically drop are possibly battling illnesses? Maybe not all Covid, but the flu and whatnot as well? Judon just has not looked like the same dude out there lately. Less energy.
