I have just seen two terrible plays from Earl Thomas back to back. He looks like he is holding back. Injured perhaps or age getting to him?

Great Niners drive

Take out backers, no spy, play in dime/cover 0. Everyone else on the line, so Ravens can't out-option you because there is always going to be a free man that's coming in unblocked.
I like it, but would definitely be scared of when they go like 13 personnel and just power run game with ingram. that would be tough to defend out of dime.

Also in cover 0 with everyone on the line, you better have your first guy make the tackle or else lamar is gone.

Clearly there are going to be flaws with any solution to such a good offense, but I would worry about the power potential of their offense if we go dime all day and take out LBs.

Taking out the backers is a horrific idea. If you think they chewed us up before, just wait until we take out two of our best run defenders.

I should clarify: KVN, HT, and Collins will be on the line, or very close to it, but all other backers would be on the bench. I would basically leave the flat open, and take my poison there.

The obvious way to beat the Ravens is not trying to stop them, you can't, but slow them down and keeping up with the scoring and wait for them to make a mistake. That means offense has to be able to put up 30+points.

Bad news for us. Let's hope you're wrong.

I know we have the secondary to pull that off. I don't think SF does.

That being said I still completely agree with the dime/cov 0 call. Take away their staple and make the pass a more attractive option to the Ravens. Play the odds on LJs questionable throwing skills.

Ravens still look unbeatable

The moment LJ stepped out from under center it was so obvious what would happen. Awful call on the defensive personnel.

They've already lost that battle with their choice of personnel and formation.

Yeah unless there are some turnovers or huge plays on first down I think this game will go exactly as you would expect with the Ravens continuously driving down the field.

5.7 YPC wow

9ers are going to pick LJ, they are setting him up.

Yes, that's the gamble. If we whiff on gap discipline or lose the hat on hat battle- it's goodbye.

But look at the Chargers- that's what they did. They had the size and physicality with their DB's. Derwin James is listed as a safety but he is a big bully. I think we could come pretty close to imitating that.

did not get the 1st down but I think Ravens go for it

Nice if they can get this stop.

Steelers have so much faith in their back-up back-up QB that they direct snapped the ball to their back-up RB 2 plays in a row.

Another 4th down pick play
